Nigloland, an original theme park 45 minutes from the Hotel de la Gare de Troyes

It all started in Dolancourt in the heart of Aube in 1987. Two brothers and former fairground people, Patrice and Philippe Gélis, decided to create a small family leisure park whose mascot, “Niglo”, means hedgehog in the Romani language. Initially the park consisted of a small creperie, a restaurant and seven attractions and facilities. But very quickly, the park became very popular and now has 100,000 visitors per season.

Elected 3rd best amusement park in Europe in 2019, in the category of less than 1 million visitors, Nigloland is different for its proximity to the forest and the river, which are integrated into the park.
